If you are looking for air purifiers by price band, we have a selection of price ranges for you to check out. You can then decide if any model fits the other criteria you may have. I should say that there are more bestsellers in the $101 to $200 range than any other.

You have to bear in mind that if you want to remove pollutants or allergens down to fractions of a micron, you will be looking at higher priced units. It’s true to a large extent that you get what you pay for! At the very least make sure you get a model with a clean air delivery rate large enough for the room size you want it for. If odors, gases or volatile organic compounds are your problems, make sure you get a model that can deal with them effectively: you need either an activated carbon filter of at least 5 pounds weight or an air purifier with PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) technology.

If you’re concerned about bacteria or viruses you need a model with ultra-violet germicidal  irradiation, incineration or PCO.
